United are bidding to become the first club to claim two hat-tricks of English top-flight titles having also won the Premier League from 1999 to 2001. Only four clubs have ever won the top division three years in succession. The others were Huddersfield Town (1924-26), Arsenal (1933-35) and Liverpool (1982-84).
Sir Alex Ferguson's men have won 18 of their last 20 Barclays Premier League matches and know a point will be enough to see them presented with the trophy at the final whistle.
It would be only the second time that United have sealed the title in front of their own fans. On the other occasions they have either won it away from home or without playing.
However Arsenal will be keen to avenge their recent 1-3 home defeat by United in the Champions League. They will also want to bounce back from their 1-4 home defeat by Chelsea who ended their 21-match unbeaten run.
